1. Can we choose the venue for the ceremony?

Yes. Each Beachcomber hotel has spectacular settings to host your wedding ceremony, including beautiful beaches, gardens and restaurants, each with their own atmosphere. The final decision will depend on your wedding style, the number of guests and hotel logistics. Of course, you can seek advice from your wedding coordinator to make your final choice.

2. What happens in case of rain ?

On your arrival at the hotel, your wedding day will be planned meticulously with your wedding coordinator. To ensure that all goes without a hitch, you will discuss an alternative venue in the event of rain.
If it rains on your wedding day, you will not have to worry about a thing. The hotel will do its best to set up the alternative venue according to the original plan in terms of style, décor, table set-up etc. The staff will also inform the guests of the change of plan.

3. Are we entitled to optional menus besides those provided at the buffet?

Yes. Each hotel has a choice of restaurants, including a main restaurant where you can dig into the buffet or set menu as part of your half-board package. However, all our hotels have something prepared for the occasion, whether it be an “A la Carte” meal with supplement or special menu designed for the newly weds.

4. Do you work with professional photographers?

Yes. Each hotel works with several professional photographers, accustomed to handling the most demanding requests. Being familiar with the hotel, they will know which site to select to highlight the unique features of your wedding in Mauritius or Seychelles.

5. Is it possible to have an extra room on the wedding day for the bride?

Yes. In most cases, depending on availability, the hotel provides an extra room for the bride and groom for the final preparations and touch-ups.

6. Does the hotel have hairdressing and make-up facilities?

Each hotel offers hairdressing facilities where a team of professionals is at your beck and call. On your arrival at the hotel, you can contact the staff to book a hair and make-up trial before the wedding.
To look your best on the big day, book a treatment at the hotel’s Spa or Wellness Centre two days before the wedding to avoid any skin irritation.

7. What is included in the package ?

It all depends on what you want. To help you plan your wedding, we have created the “Classic” and the “Luxury” packages which include selected services that we thought would cover some of your wedding essentials.
To personalize your wedding further, you can browse through our selection of optional “A la Carte” services and facilities, which you will be able to book on your arrival at the hotel.

8. What flowers can be found in Mauritius ?

As a tropical island, Mauritius has a rich variety of tropical flowers including many roses, orchids, anthuriums, gerberas, hibiscuses, frangipanes…
There is something to suit each taste and budget. Not all flowers may be available at the time of year at which you choose to marry.
Each hotel works with professional florists who will liaise with your wedding coordinator to suggest flowers to match your preferences, colour scheme and wedding theme.

9. How long will the ceremony last ?

The legal part of the ceremony, which includes the services of the Civil Status Officer and the signature of the wedding certificate requires between 20 to 30 minutes. The ceremony can be tailored to your wishes and/or religious beliefs. You can choose to have songs, readings and prayers and have your family participate as well.
Regarding any religious aspects, we strongly suggest you contact the hotel at least 5 months in advance to allow sufficient time for your wedding coordinator to revert back and/or suggest alternatives.
